本部御殿手ーMotobu Udundiー
今日は、【琉球王家秘伝 本部御殿手】を紹介します。
11代宗家 本部朝勇先生が12宗家の上原清吉先生に伝授し上原先生が、
日本中に広めたが、数百年の間琉球王朝の本部家の長男のみに伝承され、
一般人にはその存在すら秘密とされていた伝説の格闘術。

本部御殿手は突き・蹴りを主体とした体術の修業から始まり、
次第に相手を傷つけることなく無抵抗にしてしまう取手（トゥイティー）
と呼ばれる投技・関節技の修業に進み取手の修行と平行して各種武器術も併せて修行する。武器術では王族が所持していた刀剣流の他に、日常道具までも武器にして幅広く使用する。稽古は合戦の際多人数を相手に戦うことを想定し、そのため刀などを使う場合も二刀を使用することが基本でつねに歩きながら技を使う。
このように剛と柔の技を積み重ね修行を続けていく事で、奥義である武の舞「舞手」に至る。また秘伝技として「渦巻竜巻の剣」が伝承されている。

In weapons art, besides the sword flow which the royal family possessed, we use it widely as a weapon even for everyday tools. Practice is supposed to fight multiplayer against opponent during battle, so if you use a sword etc, use two swords and basically always use techniques while walking.In this way, by continuing to train and practice techniques of hard and soft, we reach Maite dance "dancer" which is a mystery. As a secret technique "sword of tornado sword" is passed down.

現在の日本の武道の多くは空手のオリンピック競技化、国際的に広まった関係で、
多くが西洋のスポーツのようになってしまった。
